Job description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical installations on a large-scale commercial project in London. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing electrical works on commercial construction projects, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of all electrical activities. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning on-site for a commercial project.
Supervise and coordinate electrical subcontractors and site teams to ensure work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Ensure electrical systems are installed to the highest standards, meeting all relevant codes and regulations.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure the timely completion of electrical work.
Monitor and manage electrical budgets, ensuring the project remains within financial constraints.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing as planned and is of high quality.
Liaise with project managers, other trades, and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and communication across the project.
Address any electrical issues or challenges that arise on-site and find effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for electrical works and project progress.
Requirements:
Gold ECS card ( black preferred)
SMSTS
Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager, ideally on large commercial projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and regulations within the commercial construction industry.
Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
Experience managing electrical subcontractors and site teams.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, schematics, and technical drawings.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
