Job description

​We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical installations on a large-scale commercial project in London. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing electrical works on commercial construction projects, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of all electrical activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning on-site for a commercial project.

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical subcontractors and site teams to ensure work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.

  • Ensure electrical systems are installed to the highest standards, meeting all relevant codes and regulations.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure the timely completion of electrical work.

  • Monitor and manage electrical budgets, ensuring the project remains within financial constraints.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing as planned and is of high quality.

  • Liaise with project managers, other trades, and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and communication across the project.

  • Address any electrical issues or challenges that arise on-site and find effective solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for electrical works and project progress.

Requirements:

  • Gold ECS card ( black preferred)

  • SMSTS 

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager, ideally on large commercial projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and regulations within the commercial construction industry.

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Experience managing electrical subcontractors and site teams.

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, schematics, and technical drawings.

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
