Job description

​We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join our team and oversee the electrical operations of a large-scale industrial project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and site management, combined with the ability to lead a team and ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Electrical Site Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Oversee day-to-day electrical site operations, ensuring all work is performed safely, to high-quality standards, and in compliance with industry regulations.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate the electrical team, sub-contractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient and effective workflow on-site.

  • Project Scheduling & Coordination: Collaborate with the project manager and other stakeholders to develop and implement site schedules, track progress, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.

  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site, conducting risk assessments and safety audits as required.

  • Quality Assurance: Monitor electrical installation and commissioning processes to ensure all work meets the project’s technical and quality specifications.

  • Budget & Cost Control: Assist with budget management, monitoring project costs, and ensuring that expenditures are controlled without compromising quality.

  • Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, reporting on site progress, addressing issues, and managing expectations.

  • Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve any electrical issues or delays that may arise on-site, ensuring minimal impact on the project schedule.

Electrical Site Manager Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid ECS card

  • SMSTS

  • At least 3 years of experience managing electrical operations on large-scale industrial projects (e.g., manufacturing plants, refineries, power stations).

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, site management processes, and project delivery methods.

  • Proven track record in managing teams and leading diverse groups of professionals on-site.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
