Job description

​We are looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical Superviso rto manage the electrical work for a residential construction project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience overseeing electrical installations in residential settings and will ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with local codes and regulations.

Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all electrical work on-site for a residential construction project.

  • Lead, direct, and manage a team of electricians, ensuring high standards of quality and safety throughout the project.

  • Review electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and system design.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.

  • Monitor the progress of electrical installations, providing support and troubleshooting as necessary.

  • Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets project requirements and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other trades to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.

  • Maintain and manage the schedule for electrical work, ensuring timely completion.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of work completed, including inspections and material requisitions.

  • Resolve any on-site electrical issues, making sure solutions are cost-effective and meet safety guidelines.

Supervisor Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar role in residential construction projects.

  • Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, codes, and regulations.

  • Previous experience managing electrical installation teams and supervising electrical works on-site.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality control.

  • Relevant electrical trade qualifications and certifications.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues quickly and efficiently.

  • Previous experience in residential project management is preferred.
