Job description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Supervisor to join our clients team for an industrial project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical work on-site, ensuring the timely and safe execution of electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical work on the industrial project site.

  • Ensure electrical installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.

  • Manage a team of electricians, providing leadership, training, and performance monitoring.

  • Inspect and verify electrical systems, equipment, and wiring to ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations.

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective measures.

  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure electrical aspects of the project are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including testing reports, safety checklists, and project progress.

  • Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety protocols on-site.

  • Order materials and equipment needed for electrical installations and ensure proper stock levels.

  • Monitor work progress, quality, and efficiency to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Gold ECS card or above

  • SSSTS / SMSTS 

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor in an industrial or construction setting.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with large-scale industrial projects preferred.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and handle on-site challenges.
