Job Title: Foreman / Site Supervisor – Commercial Groundworks

Location: Plymouth, Devon

Duration: 12 Months 

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Foreman / Site Supervisor to oversee a commercial groundworks project in Plymouth. This role is a 12-month contract with a negotiable rate for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, while managing teams and liaising with site management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is completed to schedule and within budget.

• Supervise groundworks activities, including drainage, foundations, earthworks, and infrastructure.

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.

• Coordinate labour, plant, and materials to meet project deadlines.

• Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.

• Conduct toolbox talks and site briefings.

• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates.

• Identify and resolve any site issues or delays.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Foreman / Site Supervisor in commercial groundworks.

• CSCS Card (Essential).

• SSSTS or SMSTS Certification.
