Job description

​We are currently looking for an experienced MEP Supervisor to join our clients team for a permanent contract role on a commercial construction project. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a supervisor in the MEP sector, with a solid commercial background and the ability to manage a diverse team on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the MEP installation and commissioning works on commercial projects

  • Lead and manage a team of MEP engineers and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards

  • Oversee daily site activities, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and project specifications

  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress

  • Review and monitor work schedules to ensure all MEP works are completed on time

  • Ensure all MEP installations comply with local regulations, building codes, and quality standards

  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)

  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks, identifying any issues or risks early on

  • Provide technical support and guidance to the MEP team and troubleshoot any issues on-site

  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and any changes to the scope of work

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid CSCS card

  • At least 3 years of experience as an MEP Supervisor, preferably on commercial projects

  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and installations (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)

  • Proven experience managing teams and subcontractors on large-scale commercial sites

  • In-depth knowledge of site health and safety regulations

  • Experience with RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Relevant qualifications in MEP disciplines

  • Previous experience in supervising MEP works for commercial fit-outs or refurbishments

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

  • First Aid and Health & Safety certifications
