​Site Engineer – Highways Project (Coventry – 8 Months)

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways project in Coventry for an 8-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a key infrastructure project, contributing to the successful delivery of essential roadworks.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for highways construction activities

• Ensuring work is completed in line with project specifications and safety regulations

• Providing technical support to site teams and subcontractors

• Conducting quality checks and ensuring compliance with design requirements

• Keeping accurate site records and assisting with progress reporting

• Liaising with project managers, site supervisors, and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or related field

• Previous experience working on highways or infrastructure projects

• Strong knowledge of setting out techniques and surveying equipment

• Understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction sector

• CSCS card required; SMSTS or SSSTS desirable
