​My client is a leading main contractor working on a highways / infrastructure project in  Derby who are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to complete a 8 month contract. You will be required to manage all aspects of engineering of a highways and bridges project.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

​

• Reporting and working with the Project Manager and foreman.

• Site set up and compliance with health and safety

• Completing all setting out associated to the highways & infrastructure package.

• Quality assurance & control.

​

Site Engineer Requirements:

​

• CSCS card.

• SMSTS or SSSTS – Desirable, not essential.

• Previous highways engineering experience.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served.
