Electrical Supervisor needed for a commercial project!

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee a lighting refit on a major commercial project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe installation of lighting systems, managing electrical teams, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical work related to the lighting refit on the commercial project site.

  • Oversee the daily activities of electrical teams, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.

  • Conduct quality control inspections and address any issues or discrepancies.

  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to electrical teams and contractors.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and progress updates.

  • Ensure that electrical installations are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.

Requirements:

  • Valid ECS card

  • SSSTS / SMSTS

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, with specific experience in lighting refits or similar commercial electrical projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and lighting installations.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Familiarity with local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, etc.).

  • Previous experience working on commercial or large-scale projects preferred.
