Job description

​We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to manage and oversee electrical installations on a large-scale commercial project. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, and a proven track record of ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the electrical team to ensure safe and efficient execution of electrical installations and maintenance tasks on-site.

  • Oversee the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, electrical panels, and other systems according to project specifications.

  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and local regulations.

  • Monitor project progress, ensuring work is completed on time and in line with the schedule.

  • Review blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical plans to ensure accuracy and proper installation of systems.

  • Inspect electrical installations for quality and safety and make necessary adjustments to meet standards.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to electricians, apprentices, and other team members.

  • Work closely with the project manager, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project coordination and resolution of issues.

  • Maintain and update daily reports, safety logs, and work records.

  • Ensure tools and materials are readily available and properly maintained.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Gold ECS card

  • SSSTS / SMSTS

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Lead Electrician, preferably on large-scale commercial projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and troubleshooting.

  • In-depth understanding of electrical codes, safety protocols, and building regulations.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.

  • Experience in supervising and managing a team of electricians and tradespeople.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Relevant electrical certifications and licenses.
