About Us: We are a reputable electrical services company specializing in both domestic and commercial electrical systems. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician with expertise in inspection and testing, particularly for commercial projects. Join our growing team and play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier electrical services for our commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough electrical inspections and testing on both domestic and commercial properties, with a focus on larger-scale commercial projects.
Conduct periodic testing of electrical installations in commercial environments and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards (e.g., 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations).
Interpret test results and provide detailed reports for commercial clients, highlighting any potential issues or areas that need improvement.
Conduct electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations in commercial properties, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Work alongside project managers to ensure the timely completion of electrical inspections and testing on commercial sites.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and the relevant safety regulations for commercial environments.
Provide professional advice and recommendations to commercial clients regarding electrical safety and system upgrades.
Assist in the training and development of junior staff and apprentices on commercial projects when required.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs for commercial clients.
Requirements:
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (Essential).
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (Essential).
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification (Essential).
Previous experience in inspection and testing, with a strong emphasis on commercial projects.
Experience with large-scale commercial electrical systems and installations.
Strong understanding of commercial electrical regulations and standards.
Full UK driving license.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with commercial clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team on commercial projects.
