Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Manager to lead the electrical operations for a high-end residential project. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of all electrical systems, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the project. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical work for a residential construction project.

  • Manage and lead a team of electricians and subcontractors to ensure the timely completion of electrical installations.

  • Review and approve electrical plans, ensuring they meet local codes and regulations.

  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, panels, and appliances.

  • Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in compliance with industry standards.

  • Work closely with the project manager, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall project.

  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates and reports on progress.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that may arise during construction.

  • Ensure proper documentation and records of work performed and materials used.

  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained throughout the project.

Qualifications:

  • Gold ECS at least

  • SMSTS

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Manager or similar role in residential construction.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.

  • Previous experience in managing teams and coordinating with multiple trades on residential projects.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical specifications.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
