Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Manager to lead the electrical operations for a high-end residential project. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of all electrical systems, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the project. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate electrical work for a residential construction project.
Manage and lead a team of electricians and subcontractors to ensure the timely completion of electrical installations.
Review and approve electrical plans, ensuring they meet local codes and regulations.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, panels, and appliances.
Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in compliance with industry standards.
Work closely with the project manager, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall project.
Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates and reports on progress.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that may arise during construction.
Ensure proper documentation and records of work performed and materials used.
Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained throughout the project.
Qualifications:
Gold ECS at least
SMSTS
Proven experience as an Electrical Manager or similar role in residential construction.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Previous experience in managing teams and coordinating with multiple trades on residential projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical specifications.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
