​Site Engineer – Highways Package (Roads, Kerbs & Drainage)

Location: Bicester
Duration: 3 months
Rate: £260 - £310 per day (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a highways package project in Bicester. This role will focus on roads, kerbs, and drainage, and offers an initial 3-month contract with competitive rates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for roads, kerbs, and drainage works

• Ensuring quality control and compliance with specifications

• Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams

• Assisting with method statements and risk assessments

• Providing accurate site records and reports

Requirements:

• Proven experience in highways, roads, drainage, and kerbs

• Competency in GPS, total stations, and AutoCAD

• CSCS card (essential)

• SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable)

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
