I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who work heavily across the UK delivering schemes within the energy sector. My client is looking to onboard a general foreman to help deliver a new renewable energy project being delivered in Cornwall.

General foreman responsibilities: 

• Working alongside and reporting to the project manager.

• Managing plant, labour and materials.

• Detailed record keeping.

• Allocation sheets. 

• Managing health and safety.

• Putting labour to work. 

• Task briefings.

• Liaising with the client and subcontractors on site. 

• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to RAMS and program.

General foreman requirements: 

• Right to work in the UK.

• CSCS card - Gold/ Black or white.

• SMSTS.

• First aid.

• Lifting ops. 

• NSI 6&8 Competent persons.

• Previous experience within a general foreman position.

• Previous experience working on a substation, solar farm or wind farm.

• Full UK driving licence.
