Looking for an M&E Project Manager to work on commercial projects.

This role is temp to perm!

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a commercial project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing the M&E aspects of construction projects, from design through to completion. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on an exciting and high-profile project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the M&E aspects of the commercial project, ensuring all works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Coordinate and liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and tracking progress.

  • Ensure all M&E works comply with local regulations, industry standards, and health and safety requirements.

  • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for M&E installations.

  • Monitor and report on project performance, identifying and addressing any potential risks or delays.

  • Manage and lead the M&E project team, providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, and drawings.

  • Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and resolve any technical issues that arise during the project.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager, with experience in managing large commercial projects.

  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, installations, and project management methodologies.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.

  • Proficient in project management software and tools.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or Project Management (e.g., HNC/HND, Degree, or PMP).

  • In-depth understanding of construction processes, contracts, and relevant health and safety standards.

  • Previous experience in managing M&E teams and working with multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable.
