Job description

Position: MEP Manager (Fire Sprinkler Systems)

We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee the Fire Sprinkler aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of MEP systems. This role is essential in ensuring all MEP components are designed, installed, and maintained to meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full process from pre-construction, installation, snagging, to post-delivery service.

  • Oversee the daily operations of fire sprinkler system installations.

  • Ensure all installations are completed on time and to British Standards.

  • Lead and support installation teams, engineers, and technicians.

  • Maintain strong communication with installation teams, clients, and other trades throughout the project.

  • Travel to various project sites to ensure full oversight of ongoing work.

  • Ensure that Health & Safety files are up-to-date and compliant.

  • Handle projects with values ranging between £1k - £1 million.

  • Prepare detailed reports on project status, challenges encountered, and resolutions implemented.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Mechanical Project Management.

  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit design software.

  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • SMSTS qualification is ideal, but the company is willing to sponsor candidates to undertake the course.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
