Job Advert: Site Manager – Roofing Project (Hemel Hempstead, 6 Months)

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a flat roofing refurbishment project in Hemel Hempstead. This is a 6-month contract, with a start ideally on 12th or 17th March.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations on-site

• Ensure health & safety compliance

• Manage subcontractors and workforce

• Coordinate materials and project schedules

• Liaise with clients and stakeholders

• Maintain quality control and project timelines

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing roofing projects, particularly flat roofing and re-felting

• Valid SMSTS qualification

• CSCS

• First Aid certification

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and H&S compliance
