Site Engineer – Earthworks & Heavy Civils

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a 6-8 month contract on a major earthworks and heavy civils scheme. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale project with a reputable contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying for earthworks and heavy civils activities

• Ensuring works are carried out to specification, on time, and within budget

• Managing quality control and ensuring compliance with design and safety standards

• Providing technical support to site teams and liaising with project managers

• Conducting site inspections and resolving technical issues

Requirements:

• Proven experience in site engineering for earthworks and heavy civils projects

• Proficiency with setting out equipment (GPS, total station, laser levels)

• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related field

• CSCS card and relevant site certifications preferred

Duration & Rate:

• Contract length: 6-8 months

• Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience
