Site Engineer – 12-Month Heavy Civils Project – Birmingham

Duration: 12 months
Rate: £300 - £400

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major heavy civils project in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading sub contractor on a long-term infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying work to ensure accuracy

• Overseeing site operations and ensuring work meets project specifications

• Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities

• Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained

• Producing and maintaining site documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in heavy civils or infrastructure projects

• Strong setting out skills with GPS, total stations, and laser levels

• Understanding of construction methods, health & safety regulations, and quality standards

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related field preferred

• CSCS card required; SMSTS is advantageous but not essential
